What resolution does the ESP32 DAC have?

The ESP32(-D0WD) has two 8-bit DAC channels (section 4.9.2 in the datasheet).
The ESP32-S2 has two 8-bit DAC channels (section 4.2.2.2 in the datasheet).
The ESP32-S31 has two unknown resolution DAC channels (section 4.2.2.2 in the datasheet) - as of 2026-07-31, the datasheet does not specify the resolution of the DAC channels.
The ESP32-S3 has no DAC
The ESP32-C2/ESP8684 has no DAC
The ESP32-C3 has no DAC
The ESP32-C5 has no DAC
The ESP32-C6 has no DAC
The ESP32-C61 has no DAC
The ESP32-H2 has no DAC
The ESP32-P4 has no DAC
